Of course we couldn’t have just any Key Lime Pies at Walt Disney World we have to make sure that our pal Mickey Mouse gets in on the action too. It packs a crunch and a puckery punch that transports your senses from the heat, if only for a moment.įor all these delicious reasons and more, Walt Disney World Resort has loaded up their Candy Kitchens with cold and tasty Key Lime Pies to help you beat the heat and steal a taste of something sweet. It truly is one of the perfect summer treats – cool, creamy, sweet, and tangy. I especially enjoyed it in the summer time as a way to escape the sweltering Florida summer heat. Living in Florida as a child, I grew up loving this indigenous treat. So I put it back in for another 4 minutes. The liquid had become more solidified, but I witnessed a lot of movement.
